Rugrat Update

Well, it's been some time since my last post and alot has changed....

Charlie now has four teeth and has recently started to crawl.

The crawling process happened over a few days, the first of which he kept going backwards then, one evening, I watched him take a couple of crawls forward. Almost overnight, he perfected the skill and is now able to freely explore the house and touch things we wish he couldn't.

He's a cheeky inteligent boy trapped inside the shell of a babys body.

He has learned to wave 'hello' but is reluctant to wave 'goodbye'. Shortly after this, he learned to do a 'high five'.

On recent a shopping trip he caught the eye of a couple of female cashiers who started cooing the normal "awh, is't he cute..". One of them went on to say "hello", Charlie responded by waving back. You can imagine how amazed they were.

Gothador

I've been playing an online game for some time now and have developed a character to a moderate level as the above picture shows.

The game is called Gothador and the objective is to gain experience which in turn is used to advance your characters levels and develop it's abilities. Experience can be gained by completting quests and killing creatures.

Now Gothador is just one of many MMORPG (Massivly Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) by Hunted Cow Studios which has thousands of other players with which you can interact by chatting, exchanging, helping and sometimes killing.

Now it's probably not to everyones liking (if you want Xbox 360 style games, get an Xbox 360) but if you like the kind of game where you build your character up and see them change and develop, you'll probably love this. We've probably had over 5 people at work playing, and I myself play every day.

Best of all, its FREE without any time limit restictions and they offer a 14 day trial period as a supporter which gives you access to other Realms (Countries) beyond Gothador.

Just click on the following link and give it a try:

A Proud Moment

My wife woke me around midnight to tell me she was having contractions before contacting the hospital who advised us to wait until they were 5min apart.

Shortly after the call, the contractions were becoming very frequent so I woke our daugther and got her ready to stay with her grandparents whilst my wife phoned and told them the situation.

We arrived at the hospital around 1:30am and Charlie was delivered at 3:27am weighing 7lb 15oz.

Although an epidural was requested, my wife had endured the pain of childbirth with the help from Entenox (gas & air) alone.

I could not be more proud of them both.

Its a Boy!

Well it will be when it eventually pops out around the 9th of March 06.
All went well at my wife's 20 week scan.

Apparently, his head is about the size of an egg and feet are as long as his thigh bone.
We were told that this is all normal for at this stage of development.

We've started thinking about names, my wife likes the name Charlie. I must admit that Its probably top of the list at the moment.

Taekwondo Competition

I finally did it, my first competition. Althought I had hoped for a better result, the experience was amazing. You never appreciate how much energy it takes until you've done it, and I ran out of energy about a 1min into the second round.

Here's a picture of me and my daughter Jade just moments after the fight... and still smiling.

New Camera

We bought my daughter Jade a digital camera for £14 from Currys several days ago. This is a picture of me that she has taken. It's amazing considering that she's only 3 years old.

What do you think?
